Why can’t you get your shite together when it comes to women? It can’t be that hard.

The definition of being poor is lacking the ability to manage money.

Lack of education.

Also, I would think that many people who were born poor and grew up poor have lifestyle expectations that are within the budget of the government.

Im not some broke lazy poor though

Paradoxically upward mobility is a factor. The smart and ambitious get the hell out, leaving no one to be a role model.

Why can't fat people get their shite together?

Habits.

Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure. Good habits are the key to all success.

Habits are hard to break.

While getting out of extreme poverty is possible in many cases. It’s much harder than people who didn’t grow up extremely impoverished give it credit for. For one thing, having some type of money or generational wealth gives one the opportunity to make so many more mistakes and still be “successful.” It’s like yes, if one born into poverty manages everything perfectly their entire life, they will most likely get out of it, but how many of us are perfect? And there are so many more traps to fall into along the way if one starts from a place of extreme poverty.

As soon as they do they blow their money on booze, drugs and whorehouses.

To paraphrase Jeff Foxworthy, If you get a $3,000 stimulus check, and don't put it towards tuition at the local community college, and instead blow it on gold jury at the walmarks, you may be a broke arse poor in America.
