Of course, it's against the World Anti-Doping Code that the IOC follows.

You weren’t thinking that NBA players smoke weed, were you? Silly you.

3/4ths of the team would be disqualified but I'm sure it will not become public

I’d love to know how they would keep 3/4th of the Olympic team getting disqualified from becoming public in this scenario you’ve built

He’s probably just a little curious as to why a world class sprinter has to sit home if these guys are doing the same thing. I’m not implying that there’s a double standard, just a little curious.

High C,

Well then my response is that looking for accurate knowledge, of the testing protocols of the various international organizations involved in the Olympics, on TD is more than likely futile.

I am just more upset that more sports have not taken advantage of alcohol being removed from the list for in compeition testing

Considering this Genocidal Jap™ Olympics is going to be a shitshow anyways

The time is now

They both have to take the same tests. Hard to complain when one fails on their own volition

It’s stupid but blaming someone else getting around it (or possibly just following it) doesn’t make sense either

I dont think he's blaming the people that get around it, he's blaming the people who allow some to get around it but not others.

Although personally the ones that agreed to go probably know about the testing and prepare for it so maybe they're not getting around it per se, maybe they plan better and this guy just didn't, which would be his own fault.

I dont agree with testing for weed FWIW, just throwing my .02 out there about the situation

Don Lemonade,

I don’t know what you meant by genocidal or jap but it seems pejorative IMO.

Not at all

I just meant that Japan has been trying to committ genocide for thousands of years. And I used the old oxford dictionary defined abbreviated version still in print to describe who those people were.

Its all fun stuff really

Japan is weird, they don't GAF about PEDs but come down hard on recreational drugs.

Yes I want these guys tested. I’m sure weed is allowed in the NBA but test them the same as track athletes.
