When was alcohol on the banned list? One of my favorite piss test stories is from a triple gold and 1 silver medalist from 84 in LA. I think he was at world champs 2 years later, somewhere in Europe. He thought his meet was done and they were requesting a sample. Beer was on the table with the water and gatorade to encourage peeing. Forgot how many he got down before having to break the seal, thus ending his free tab, but i remember him walking off with a few pocket beers as well. Plot twist, he was not done swimming for the week yet
