Deleted twitter 5 years ago.

Deleted FB 3 years ago.

Deleted IG 2 months ago. But I was friends with a ton of my relatives.

One day I'll have the courage to delete my TD account.

This thread is weird.

Stalking your niece online probably violates the restraining order.

I honestly don’t understand this issue with Facebook. I just block all the Karen’s and the people who bitch about negative shite constantly, basically politics. What’s left is pictures of family stuff, vacations and generally good shite I like to keep up with.

I think I may have an Instagram account because Facebook bought them and you can apparently use the same login, but I can't be sure because I don't use that garbage.

A cousin of mine had a sudden break up with her husband 10 years ago. The guy was the most laid back and non-threatening guy I think I’ve ever met. Guy worked in microchip development and did very, very well. I don’t know how to explain just how innocent the guy was. A complete “not street smart” nerd who was highly intelligent….I guess Leonard from Big Bang theory would be in the same genre of guy. Naive/intelligent and an overall good guy you’d be hard pressed to find anything ever to really say he was bad about.

Anyway, the family loved the guy and all of a sudden, my cousin claims she been abused for 10 years (verbally) and that she left him. She never worked, so she went to school and I guess this guy who no one ever saw again was footing the bill. She stayed in the million dollar house and went to beauty school.

I say all this because, now her instagram is her in a tight fitting dress, and their daughter who just tuned 18 (2nd cousin) in March posted a collection of rap video type poses wearing gstring bikinis , short shorts, and just overly provocative pictures and has like 5k followers in just a couple months.

It’s hard for me to think that poor guy has to subsidize my trashy Kim Kardasian type beauty obsessed cousin and the resulting slut life influence his daughter which you can tell has been back stage at a rap show from the photos she’s posted.

I really feel sorry for the guy, and hope he doesn’t follow her. I muted their posts because it makes me sick to think what she stole from that man.

I have an old friend who has a daughter that’s like 14-15 years old. She followed me back like 6 years ago and she posted about mine craft videos and childish stuff. A month ago she posts a selfie type photo of her and this boy laying in bed, and the boy has his shirt off.

They are doing like a couples shot where it’s mainly just their faces but you can tell he has no shirt and they are in bed.

He and her mother(ex) both are following her account, and the post hasn’t come down.

I have a 7 month old daughter and can’t believe I’d be okay with what my friend’s daughter seems to be doing.

Should I just get over it now, every girl goes through a slut phase, just don’t look and pretend everything is just an honest misunderstanding.

It was all people from the past.

If I care to know what someone I went to high school with is up to, I'll text them. And if someone wants to get in touch with me, they will text me. If they don't have my number, it can't possibly be that important.

My issue was I'd open it mindlessly and within 10-15 minutes find myself endlessly scrolling, having gained nothing. Not even insight about something new. Same thing started to happen with IG, where I was watching reels at night trying to close it, and just couldn't.

It's the same reason I stay off youtube. I have 3 or 4 subscriptions I watch, but other than that I can't just click on interesting looking videos. Because they are rarely interesting or they are flat out lies.

Podcasts are better, but even so you have to be very critical of what you're taking in. There have been some very reputable people on JRE who have turned out to be snake oil salesman, or credentialed professionals who cherry pick studies to sensationalize a topic because they have certain funding or financial interests.

All that to say, it's much easier to limit my online experience with anonymous forums where it doesn't matter what someone says because I'm not looking at it to provide anything other than entertainment. Like TD. Internet didn't always used to be like this. Back in the early 2000s it was phenomenal. Today it's a lackluster product that's been hijacked.

Same. Plus all the bullshite ads.

The only reason I keep instagram is because of the meme accounts.

I have a niece who is 16 years old. Pretty young lady, with a mostly good head on her shoulders, but she does post some thirst trap pictures.

My nephew follows a bunch of instahoes.

Their aunt on the other side of was a fitness model (and a giant hoooor) and I saw her posted here, on texags, and a few other places. She was moderately famous in her hay day.
