I'd say the education system failed them. They lack the most rudimentary of logical thinking skills. They also lack self and situational awareness for exactly the reasons you posted.

It's never occurred to her to step back and take inventory of her situation.

Excellent Work!

Being “Woke” is as much a fashion statement for hipsters as it is a practiced ideology.

The youngest Millennials are pushing 25 while the oldest are closing in on 40. I myself am 34. This girl is obviously Gen Z.

I'd probably say she's somewhere in her early 20's, which according to the US Census Bureau means she's a...millennial.

And, according to other social scientists, makes her Gen Z. It's all subjective and completely irrelevant anyway. The fact of the matter is, had any generation in the history of the planet had the educators and technology Millennials, Generation Z, and Generation Alpha enjoy, they would have ended up the exact same way in terms of ideology.

Also...the previous generations don't get a pass on this either. The so-called "Greatest Generation" were not the greatest parents. We know this because they sired the Baby Boomers - a generation I think we can all agree did more harm to this country than good. It's also a generation that continues to do harm.
