He's dealing with democrat leadership. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are not marxists much to the chagrin of actual marxist democrats. They're corporatist neoliberals that do everything they can to screw over marxists when their interests are at play.

part of the reason Trump's Cabinet and Admin were so bad and resulted in so much turnover was RINO's lying to Trump, DC Establishment types promoting and protecting their own and DJT listening to Turtle tell him who they could and could not get confirmed through the Senate.

The line between DJT and Turtle has always been there. It got so bad that DJT had people step down or get fired and he short circuited the Senate Confirmation Process by appointing "interim" Secretaries and Leaders and never pushing for a permanent replacement which neutered some of Mitch's powers.

Turtle has won his last election, he has zero fricks to give and he has zero to offer anyone facing Re-Election in 22 or 24.

And yet Trump is endorsing enough of those same people to make sure there is nothing that constitutes an anti Mitch majority of GOP senators.

How about that?

Nobody really expects Mitch to run in 2026.

In fact, that's why he was able to get the Kentucky legislature to handcuff the democrat Governor's powers in choosing a replacement senator for him and could appoint from just only from 3 choices given to him from the Kentucky GOP.

That's only if Mitch does not serve out the full term.
