How specifically did they frick up?
Normally its 82 games in 6 months following a 3.5 month break
You dont see how that would increase injuries?

After this and what you just posted it's clear you are not all there mentally

But it happened in the third quarter during a 10-point game.
I think it was a 20.pt game, or close to.it

Is this season really that much more intensive than past seasons, though? I know everyone points to the quick turnaround, but it was a turnaround from a small amount of games. The vast majority of players haven't played more games from the start of the bubble until now than they would in a normal season. They got 3 months off before the bubble which is about the same as a normal offseason, and since then I'm not sure if anyone has played more than 100 games, which is how many you'd play in a normal finals run. Maybe the season has been a little condensed, but I find it kinda hard to believe that that's caused a huge surge in injuries.

Freak I hate injuries. I hope it’s not what they think it is. Hope he recovers soon.

Per Marc Stein:
Look at the list of the players with soft tissue injuries. The only one that doesn't have an extensive injury history is Harden.
quote:
Some of these major hits are obviously freak injuries: Kyrie Irving (ankle), Jaylen Brown (wrist), Trae Young (ankle), Giannis' fall tonight.
Many are soft-tissue: Anthony Davis (groin), James Harden (hamstring), Kawhi Leonard (knee), Joel Embiid (knee), Mike Conley (hamstring).

I mean Harden played in 44 games and Davis in 36. I get that the quick turnaround and so many games in so many nights could've caused some of these injuries, but I'm not sure it's as big a deal as it's being made out to be.

Harden (conditioning/hamstring)
Sorry I can't let this one go. Give a frick Harden wouldn't have shown up with bitch tits to the NBA season like the version of Harden we got this year. His conditioning 100% led to the hammy.

The only "upset" out of the four from last year not being there this year is the Lakers. Heat, Celtics and Nuggets not being there isn't some huge outlier.

You think its a coincidence with no correlation the entire league wide data is at an all time high?

Of course, because there are only so many "superstars" and that seems to be the topic of the conversation.

Wrong
He showed up and dropped 44 and 17 with no practice games and lead the #1 offense in nba history.
He was steady working out staying in shape in the offseason.
It was just a fluke injury. First time it has ever happened to him. Has played in 95% of available games in the last decade, tops in the league.
Again, just a fluke.

If he is out of shape and still the best player in the L what does that say about all the other players?
he wasn’t out of shape that was him wearing a wrap underneath his warmup.

Honest question: has the data maybe just been trending this way for years with the increase in load management across the league?

Lots of really good players playing pg for KD and Kyrie would look like the best NBA player, which Jim wasn't this year because he was too hurt from not being in shape. And Jim's game isn't based on athleticism, just like you've said before.
Dame
Spyder
Steph
Lebron
Etc..
All would've have similar numbers to Jim playing with those dudes.

KD MISS 85% of the games after the trade for harden. Those guys didn’t barely play together at all.
funny you say lebron could have done the same considering he has been on super teams his whole career and harden has been the lead guy on 4 offenses better than the best offense bron has played on.
Bron has had much more talent around him but isn’t even comparable when you look at how good each players team offense has been.
