All those records is like Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers in 2011. It means nothing.

And he’s submitted some bad performances in games within those series along with games his team got eliminated, 2017 stands out like a sore thumb

No one that has ever played the game would take Harden’s bum arse in a fourth quarter playoff game over MJ, KD, or hell, even Bron Bron.

Harden is very similar to brees in that statistically he is up there with anyone and it is slightly boosted by the era he plays in.

harden however is top 5 all time at his position, I am not sure that drew is.

Me - post facts. Stats.

You - post dumbass opinions. Make stuff up.

Go play somewheres bro the numbers say what they say. Harden is the greatest scorer in today’s nba.

Booker seems to be doing fine when CP is out

And booker has a per of 16 in the playoffs. he is so overrated it cracks me up. I am pretty sure it is bc of aesthetics of his game. It is real nice to watch, but the effectiveness of it just doesn’t stack up.

I am not exaggerating even a little when I say that harden his very first year in HOU was a better player than booker today. It is not particularly close either. And we know how many leaps JH has taken since then.

Most points scored per possession in nba history. And more efficient than any of the next 10 seasons, at least.

Curry 31.56
Westbrook 30.70
Harden 30.62

Curry and Westbrook both have better PER seasons than Harden's best (Harden > Westbrook though). I think there's more of an argument for Harden > Durant than some think, though I'm not sure, but I think Curry is clearly ahead of both (don't forget Curry won a title without Durant while KD has never won without Steph).

Harden's problem is he relies too much on the 3-pointer and he's not as good a pure shooter as Curry or Durant. Harden settles for shooting bad 3's in the playoffs and his efficiency tanks. Go back and look at the game logs (game 7 vs MIL 2-12 on 3PT, game 7 vs GS 2-13 3PT).

Curry is the better player at their peaks, has a better single season, better shooter, and has won more. I just don't see any argument other than LeBron for Curry being player of the decade, though it's clearly LeBron

1. LBJ
2. Curry
3. Durant/Harden

Harden has better regular season # and playoff numbers than Steph.

Steph shoots better, that’s it. Steph is the greatest shooter ever and that means a whole heck of a lot, but we saw what Steph does with a team of no all stars this year. No playoffs.

Not like Steph’s supporting cast after those “all-stars” were much help, Boom

harden won 55 w Eric Gordon as his best teammate.

He also made the playoffs his first year in HOU Where his best teammate was chandler parsons, Jeremy Lin, and asik.

Steph had Wiggins, oubre, green, etc. all better players than the HOU supporting cast the first year in town.

Don't forget Capela, Ariza, Beverley, Lou Williams, Ryan Anderson and it was in the D'Antoni system. As a Pels fan, I'm very aware of the value Gordon and Anderson provided them. Plus after the Warriors, Spurs, and (maybe) the Clippers, the rest of the West that season was dogshit. If YOU were a superstar surrounded by a core of valuable role players and shooters in the right offensive system and you couldn't win 50 games that season, you really needed to reevaluate things.

Next to Harden, great coaching job by McHale, got 6 players total (5 of which were scrubs) in double-figures scoring (since Harden only averaged 6 APG that season) and it's not like the competition for their West seed that season was formidable so made sense they emerged with a playoff spot that season, Houston ain't exactly a city of losers.

Steph had Wiggins

Wiggins more a liability, problem child than asset

oubre

No clue who he is as it relates to the success of the Warriors

green

Dray means a lot to the team in terms of emotional leadership and defense but it's Triple-Single not like he's submitting Scottie Pippen numbers night by night

To simplify.. one guy makes the playoffs every year. Top 4 seed damn near every year. The other guy when asked to carry a team couldn’t get them into the playoffs.

Can't wait to hear why this is relevant, if it is

Kind of a weird year to say Steph "couldn't get them into the playoffs" when the West was as stacked as it ever was top to bottom and a play-in tournament existed, if there was no play-in, GSW would've qualified as the 8 seed.

Playoff numbers

Curry averages 26.5 PPG 6.3 APG 5.4 RPG
Harden averages 23.3 PPG 6.0 APG 5.5 RPG

Curry shoots .906 FT% .401 3P% .450 FG%
Harden shoots .868 FT% .332 3P% .428 FG%

Steph also has back to back MVP's to Harden's one MVP

It's Curry by a lot

And yet Chris Paul just brought an extremely average roster to the finals. James harden isn’t bringing this group to a finals.

The truth is harden is a great offensive player who also wasted his prime years being a lazy and disinterested defensive basketball player. But maybe Durant will get him a ring before it’s too late.
