Parking this Friday morning @ MSY (4th of July weekend). Will there still be parking available that is not economy where I have to take a 20 minute bus ride to the terminal? TIA

Between short term, long term, and surface parking... at this moment there are 1400 plus spots open. While that will go down, I'd think you would be fine. If not, the US Park on Vets is a shorter ride than the economy garage.

as of this morning short term and long term are full we had to park in the economy garage at the old terminal, so go there first. Surprisingly the airport itself is pretty tame. Zipped thru TSA in 5 mins

I have a question about parking at the airport. This week will be my first time flying out of the new terminal. I see where they have turned the old parking garage on Airline into an "Economy Parking Garage" - they appear to have better rates compared to US Park (where I normally have parked in the past) - how is parking in the Economy Parking Garage? Pretty easy? Shuttle efficient? etc?

Yes, we used the shuttle service on July 4th and the 11th.

yeah pretty often
in true Nola style though the shuttle has to get out into through traffic to get to the new terminal though LOL
supposedly it will be fixed when the flyover exit is done and the shuttles can all use the inside roadways
