Yep, the ol' "V" word. Vasectomy. Needless to say, I hate needles, giving blood, etc. You can call me a puss if you want, but just not for me.

OT snipped baws - how much is my anxiety out of place? Dr. said they'll give me a valium beforehand, but that shite never seems to work for me.

circumcisions

I'd like to work in a circumcision ward. I hear there are lots of tips involved and the chance to get ahead.

Be prepared to wear a jockstrap for a month
The cold peas are real - use them
Don’t do squats or leg presses for a month

It is going to hurt very badly if the doctor screws up

You gotta crank your chain like a 15 year old weed eater for 6 weeks - bring lube

You get a needle stuck in your nuts. It hurts. A lot. You better hope the vallum works.

Like most medical procedures, the dread of it is 100 times worse than the actual experience.

It's not too bad. The first shot is quick, semi painful, but quick.

me neither I still about had a panic attack on the table once I smelled the cauterized skin smell.

It's fast though. I think the valium is more for your junk to relax than your brain.

The only real pain was getting the needle in my nuts

I didn't take any painkillers like Valium because I'm not a bitch. Recovery was easy. I was running a few days after.

Pop the pain killer as soon as you are done.

Make sure your driver takes the smoothest roads home and has the frozen peas ready.

Easiest 10 minutes of my life. I could've gone right back to work after but the doc told me to go home and stay off my feet the rest of the day. My wife brought a book and didn't get a chance to read any of it before I walked out ready to go home. Wish I would've done it a few years earlier than I did.

I never needed ice or anything like that after. Just a slight feeling of getting kicked in the nuts for a few days after.

I'll have to load up on a xanax before I leave the house.

Mine was a nightmare, had to have it done in the hospital. Had to be put completely under.

same here. The vasectomy took less time than it took my wife to go through the chick fil a drive through that was literally across the street.
