A little. Actually Ran into Simon last week.

I used to be really good at disc golf irl. Austin has a bunch of courses and I used to play from time to time cause it gave us something to do where we could smoke weed without harassment back when weed was a bigger deal criminally

Day 5 is going to be intense.
Shame on me for counting Paul out of it, at least in a real way.

I don't know what he did today because Jomez hasn't posted round 4 yet.

You can follow the live scores through u disc. But safe to say without spoiling much, he will be on the lead card for day 5.

I think disc golf is a stoner sport across the board haha

It’s a mixed bag. Some guys take it too seriously. Others like my group bring a case of beer and some weed. Fun way to end the work day

a lot of people smoke weed when playing,
But most people drink beer when golfing.
I bet you Disc Golf is 10x harder than you think it is

Number one women’s player in the world botches a 180 foot approach to lose.
Then Conrad throws in from 210 feet to force a playoff on a hole he’d already aced.
Amazing day

not just from 210 feet, but an anhyzer backhand with a putter.
The fact that he does not have a forehand shot and he just did that is absolutely insane.
It is one of the most clutch sports moments I have ever seen. I know most would downplay it, but spend any amount of time on a disc golf course and you will know that what he just did is unheard of in the context of that moment.
Also speaking of the ace, if he does not do that in Round 2 then we are not even having this conversation.
Sucks that Paul went for the smart play on the layup, but how could he know.

For those that are curious about what we are babbling about.
The shot.
For reference, he had to make this shot to even stand a chance at a sudden death play off.
For more reference, the natural path of a right handed player throwing back hand is the disc to go straight and drift left. He performed an angle (anhyzer) that made the disc go right and buried it from 250 feet. You're average player can barely throw 250 feet in any direction. Let alone a finessed shot such as this.

Funny I started a thread on the first day and got zero responses. I guess everyone hates me.
The funny thing for me is McBeth posts on DGCR on occasion and years ago he slagged MVP when they were getting a lot of hype online by asking something to the effect of why hasn't anyone won a significant tourney with them. I guess he will remember one now.
It was interesting to watch the difference in player scores on Mulligans and The Fort. It was clear who has a better woods game. JC probably is the best putter thrower in disc golf anfd that ~250 ft throw-in was electric.

I have 1 MVP disc and 2 streamlines (basically MVP) I like them a lot.
I love the neutron plastic. Feels slick but grippy, quite unique.

What makes it even crazier is the altitude. All discs are more stable at altitude so the snap he had on release must have been unreal to hold it on any the whole way. Add to that he just started throwing MVP and likely doesn't have a stack of super beat in discs. I am not sure but he likely was throwing an Envy which has a pretty solid (3) fade so it was an absolutely unreal shot given the pressure. His ace on 16 in the second round was a more amazing shot but the pressure differential was massive. Pulling a first World title from a normally icy 5x champ is a massive feat and James deserves every kudo. I hope MVP can find the production to capitalize and get James paid.
Paige's meltdown was hard to watch, harder for me because I am not a Cat fan. Paige takes Worlds losses hard so I hope she is back to being fierce soon.

That looks badass. Similar to the Tour Championship scene in Happy Gilmore.

Played in the northwest. Also played at D’arbone. A underrated sport
