Because he had Allen Dunn as his pitching coach.

Alan Dunn produced a ton of high draft picks. Our pitching was among the best in the country almost every season for a long time. Because it has dipped the past few years doesn't mean Dunn has always been bad. ANd lol at saying we didn't win the title in 2017 because of Alan Dunn. Good lord that is a stupid comment

He was trying to get O'Connor over here so no I don't think he should have any influence on our hire.

How dare he try and get a national championship winning coach to come to LSU.

For the record, I don’t think CPM should have final say or a major influence but I don’t have and issue with Woodward using him as a resource in making the decision on the next coach.

For the record, major league scouts warn recruits not to play for O'Connor. Sit this one out buddy.

Not to mention he calls terrible games. Do you remember when we got walked off at the Baton Rouge super regional against Florida State? He had Fontenot throw four straight fastballs high and in. That fourth one, the guy hits a walk off grand slam. How stupid. And you call him a good coach? How stupid. When was the last time we had a dominant weekend rotation? When is the last time we had a top bullpen?

I didn't say he was still a good coach. I said he was a good coach. A coach's entrie tenure and/or career isn't definied by his most recent year(s) on the job

Attacking LSU's HOF head coach, the winnest active HC,the HC who will retire in the Top 5 of wins by a HC, National COY 3 times, and our highly respected A.D. all in one rant...yea, neither one of those 2 clowns know what they are doing.

I stopped

It was especially funny when his ignorance on recruiting was outed and he tried to spin it as solidifying his argument.

Just classic rant material here

And yet he still made it to Omaha this year so apparently he can coach players that don’t want to go play Major League Baseball or he is a hell of a recruiter being able to get talent even when MLB scouts are telling players not to go there.

He wouldn’t be my first choice but wouldn’t use that as a reason why CPM should not be used as a resource for the next coach at LSU.

Right, because the draft isn't coming up (that was sarcasm by the way since you are too fricking stupid to catch on). Look at Texas A&M. Already have there coaching staff put together and it's a damn good one. There is this thing called recruiting that we need a head coach and recruiting director for. We need them if we're gonna get any of our top recruits on campus. You know nothing about college baseball, so you know nothing about that aspect of the game.
