Sounds like he has a serious lawsuit himself against the Redskins for the rest of his contract.

Doubt it. He wasn't found not guilty. It just says charges were dropped because of a settlement. The rape accusations are still out there and that doesn't sound like they have been proven untrue, just that he denys the allegations. So I don't think another team will want the publicity that would come with signing him. Rightly or wrongly, that's just the way these things go.

no...

The charges were dropped because he paid a settlement, not because he didn't do anything wrong.

dude still has rape allegations from LSU, not to mention a history of injuries. The chances an NFL team takes a flyer on him with all his baggage are extremely remote. You don't have to have a criminal conviction for NFL teams to not want to sign you

That's not how our legal system works. It's the accuser's (The state) job to prove someone guilty. Guice doesn't have to prove his innocence.

We've seen guys that have actually be proven guilty get signed, so it is not out of the realm of possibility. Guice's biggest problem is in inability to stay healthy coupled with the allegations. If he had a track record of production he would be signed quickly. But right now the reward doesn't outweigh the risk

Awesome, now my game worn autographed helmet isn’t complete trash.

ETA: sounds like they were just dropped, but because he was necessarily innocent. Damn, it’s trash again.

Only really desperate teams might bring him in on a one year deal with the contract very results driven and a whole bunch of conditions in it.

This screams of “settlement” actually implies more guilt than innocence. You couple that with his penchant for injury and the fact that RB’s careers in the NFL are so short, it will be very difficult for him.

We will see, but NFL teams desperate for help in the backfield probably give him a look-see, because he is scum of the earth unless someone thinks he can help them and then he is just misunderstood

I was thinking he could take over for the CHS counselor that "mentored" him while there.

Did you read the article?

According to Virginia law, some charges can be dropped if the victim states in writing that they are satisfied with the injury compensation. A release by the commonwealth's attorney's office said that this "process permits the parties to control the direction and outcome of such matters."

He basically cut a deal. Money was always the reason behind all this.
Doesn't mean the charges weren't valid.
He just paid for it to go away.
I doubt anyone touches him going forward.
That's society today, overreact without all the facts or knowing what the victim's real motive is.

Didn’t read the article but I was aware of everything you said.

Which is why I said character issues/baggage probably not.
