Use Zoysia, not St. Aug! My front yard is St Aug and I re-sodded my back yard with Zoysia last year. Wow what a difference!
Constantly fighting diseases, brown patches, bugs and weeds in the front yard. Zero issues with my Zoysia. It’s plush and deep green.

So I am almost full shade in my backyard? Zoysia it is....
I like the fun that St Aug brings though. So I kind of hate on zoysia. It is a decent grass though. Really wish I had room for all the equipment to do tifway 419. Or tifway TW just to flex on mofos

Your zoysia is just getting started. Everything you said you don’t like about st aug, zoysia can get.

About how long did it take your zoysia to fully green up? Sodded in the winter when I moved in. Zoysia seems to be seeding but only a handful of sports are getting thick and deep green. Most of the yard is still slowly coming along

How does your zoysia stand up to heavy traffic? My kids are constantly on the st aug and I haven’t had any issues

I put Zoysia in my backyard. The piss from two golden retrievers destroyed it.
