The hell happened to this dude? Besides not improving at all from his rookie year and being figured COMPLETELY out, I can't think of anything. What a waste.

Its time to move ben simmons.

regular season star.
playoffs, things clamp down and defenses become too smart.

they need a PG who can do more than just pass.

here comes westbrook to philly!

He is a very lazy but talented player.

Doc will get his arse working on a jump shot or he will be out of the league in five years.

If Ben ever learns to shoot, then pigs can fly

He’s been in the league for what? 5 years? If he hasn’t learned how to shoot yet, he never will. It’s not even that he shoots poorly, he flat out refuses to do it. I’d rather my star player try and fail then not make an attempt, especially when you are young.

The star is embiid. If Simmons shot more they’d be playing ping pong

He's one of the best defenders in the league so he's not lazy he's just fricked in the head.

Doc ain't gonna be worried about Ben's shot when they trade him in August

Too talented not to start and too garbage when it matters to start. Quite the situation in Philly.

He doesn't shoot because he know the opposition will foul him. He can't hit free throws, so he doesn't want to get humiliated. It is a vicious cycle for him.

Back when Ben was first drafted in his rookie season, and at the time Joel was still struggling to even play, I remember wondering who's team would this be going forward.

I genuinely thought Ben would turn out to be the better player over Joel.
