Agree, Gainesville is worse. Point is that I will enjoy Tenn losing because of the way they treated LSU fans in Knoxville. I would expect another team’s fan base would feel the same if LSU fans treated them like shite. Not sure why this is a big deal and somehow offends. Would be even sweeter if we poached their coach.

There’s only 1 senior with 4 years experience. There’s only 1 redshirt senior on the roster. But sure… keep spewing your bullshite.

Heard that same thing. LSU baseball’s student section has some of the trashiest arse dumb frat boys who think that’s “cool.”

I don’t defend the fans. I heard the stories from people who were there. Much of it was over the line. Why people throw Vitello into the narrative is beyond me.

The 5th year seniors thing was said in jest out of sarcasm, but they have a LOT more experience on that team than LSU did.

Not sure why a fan base would hate on that… probably because his team went 5-0 against us and they can’t handle that.

Nah, nothing to do with beating us and more to do with allowing his players to act like they do and literally having them stare down umps even after they go down swinging. It’s the douchiest thing I’ve seen in sports in a long time. I know you will counter that it’s cool that they act like that but whatever.

You think he told his team to do these things? How many games of theirs have you watched? The douchiest thing I saw was a hitter who flipped off the pitcher after a base hit while running to first… that was an LSU player fwiw.

We have players doing shite with fans all the time. Hell, Vietmeier flipped off the Tennessee crowd, one of the Jordan bros flipped off a pitcher....

I defending him when it happened. I thought it was hilarious. He was high school friends with the pitcher and got carried away. But it was still a douche move.

Enough of them do it and continuously do it so it can either be corrected or allowed. I’m leaning towards allowed.

Oh sure. I've seen that at any game. You always got a guy or two heckling a player in the outfield. That's kind of standard.

I meant I can't recall LSU acting like their fans as a whole when LSU just went there. The booing of Morgan and then CPM in his final game was ridiculous.

”continuously” meaning you’ve watched more than how many games?

Batters arguing with umps about strike calls is as old as baseball itself. It’s not limited to Tennessee players. I’ve seen LSU players do it this year. Then you had the guy hit 3 HRs against us with a walkoff to top it. He can act however he wants. Then there was the grand slam in the regional. Again, that’s just guys celebrating. You had Jacoby Jones doing the same shite to Jonathan Gray in the OU super. This isn’t outlandish.

None of the balls they hit today would have left their park either. They were shite with RISP.
