Curious to know if LSU will bring the full band?

I doubt it. I’d be really surprised if they could pull off bringing the entire band. I bet they get stuck with the shitty 55 person band they use when they have to fly

Bet whatever they bring won’t be up in the fricking nosebleed section like they were in Austin.

LSU will lose money on this trip. The AD is not gonna bring the band at all. If we do, it will be the smallest, 55-piece band. If we were playing a neutral site game, they could afford to bring the whole band.

Our rich Southern Cal alumni groups should step up and fly the band out for the game!

Well they lose money from every true road game. It won’t matter since this is the first west coast trip since Seattle 2010 I believe. All about brand exposure.

Heard they will be in the top of the stadium.

Since a bunch of anti band queers are in charge of Tiger Band now I bet they don’t even bring anyone

I am all FOR LSU Football playing games like with UCLA, Washington, etc, even on the road.
I am also for LSU playing a bigtime neutral site game every year too.
My best case scenario for scheduling is this: 1 Power 5 school at an NFL site; one home and home with a power 5 team, 2 Louisiana teams from among Tulane, ULL, ULM, and Tech in BR.
Because the SEC TV package has any game played at an SEC venue, we do NOT lose money when we play SEC games at sites not in BR.

I heard no band at all from a friend whose children are in the band. TAF told them they didn’t have the money.

Pathetic
I bet someone could start a go fund me and make it happen.

LSU football should never go anywhere without the band

This is what happens when the band is moved from athletics control to school of music control. What happened to Tiger Band over the last decade is a disgrace. People who hate Tiger Band are now in control and you're seeing the result of that.

Clown show.

This dude is totally wrong. Athletics said the band can't go, not the school of music. The Boat is probably the old band director that got fired.

Athletics defers to the school of music whores

TAF has spent millions of dollars buying out the contracts of Miles, Canada, Pelini, Linehan, etc. They also pay for all those facility improvements that dwarf the money they pay for contracts. I imagine they would rather the athletic department pay for band trips. A slight increase in season tickets would easily cover the cost.

Meanwhile Texas A&M and OU took their full bands to the UCLA game in the last few years but you can bet LSU sends a lame pep band
