Lunch in NOLA. Odds I live through this?

Family brought me over from Mobile for Fathers Day. We’re in line to eat lunch at Mothers then going to WWII museum. Found a parking space by the corner of Poydras and Canal by Harrahs and an old hotel. Didn’t SEE any no parking signs or parking meters. Seemed like way too good a parking space. Maybe I won’t get towed.
We saw Darth Vader dancing on the way here. So far so good. Weather is fantastic. Maybe I’ll make it out of here alive. Lol

A former resident who now lives and works in Ft Morgan and one of my wife’s friends both suggested it. It’ll be what it’ll be. I like soul food so any suggestions for future visits would be welcomed.

Meh. I’m never trying to wait in line at either but if a couple beignets and a po boy showed up for me I wouldn’t be angry about it.

Lol -grew up there, relocated almost 16 years ago, ate there once and have never recommended it
