Yep, trump should keep playing king maker in the house and Senate, and let Desantis run for president. Would be a hell of a tandem.

I am preparing myself to be let down by Desantis. That said, what I like most is that I think Desantis can get into the weeds on WHY we're taking a Trump-like approach to something in a way Trump never could. He combines the tactics with the substance, and what's more, appears to have a good grip on why the tactics contribute to the substantive goals.
