Yep, and there is really no need to disparage Cain. He’s one of our own. He’s moving on due to uncertainty or knowing he won’t be retained, so it’s the smart route. He’ll probably be back down the road and all of the a-hole comments will flip. Disparage the Aggies all you want, but thank the man for his service and move on.

Concur, but good luck to Nolan. May he send all the Aggies from 3rd base no matter what.

Really?

A) He's been the main recruiter for LSU for several years.
B) The LSU recruiting classes are consistently ranked in the Top 10.
C) LSU hasn't put a top 10 team on the field since 2017.
D) LSU has recruited ONE decent left-handed pitcher since 2017.

So some thoughts on this thread from an Ag:

1. I have said this on multiple threads. Your next coach is in Omaha. Either Corbin or O'Conner. Vitello doesn't fit the mold of a Woodward hire.

2. Your damn right we want to become an LSU in baseball. You are a blueblood program there, and we want to get there.

I have been on this board since our coaching vacancies. I am an Ag from Metry. Interested in your search still.

How bout anything? Lol.

Won’t happen bro. As much as y’all shite on the “Little 12”....... y’all just hired a coach from there.....that had his best teams while Vitello was there. It doesn’t concern you that Schloss’ ace recruiter was named HC? TCU didn’t even blink before promoting from within

We shall see, sir. From my perspective, I like where we sit. Would I like to have Mo and Dechant? Heck yeah. But I am good with where we sit and the cash we committed to spend on coaches.

Thank ya.

He's a good recruiter but he can't coach or develop talent for shite. I was hoping to keep him in some other capacity outside coaching for the recruiting but it is what it is. Clean house.

Good hire for Schloss. I wouldn't let him coach 3rd though. Vitello must be bringing his staff.

This is false. Vitello can certainly receive a little credit For success after he left. But I think he receives a bit too much credit from some people on here for TCU’s success.
