104.5 doubling down on bianco

Just listening to middle relief with Mario and Musso and musso the “baseball expert” is taking the moscona position and saying he fully expects the hire to still be bianco and that it’s just taking longer than expected. He expects the announcement early next week.
Who knows what to believe with this search but I do know bianco would be a very lazy hire and that would be absolutely shocking from Woodward.

Hard to know if this is the case without also knowing who else was contacted and what their response was. Apparently, O'Sullivan and Casey were contacted, but had other issues which knocked them out. So, it's a bit misleading to suggest that Woodward went with Bianco from the get go, and spoke with no one else.

That was pretty sad when Musso said Vitello was never and will never be considered for the LSU job, Just a Tigerdroppings message board dream.

If you’ve waited this long there’s no reason to think waiting through next week would be a problem. It would actually look worse to hire Bianco now before talking to anyone who is still in Omaha.

I listened to Jordy's podcast/youtube for the first time today, other than audio clarity his show is by far and away better than the whole 104.5 lineups. I'm sure Jordy will work out technical shortfalls over time, but I think I'm done with 104.5. Moscona is a douche, Hester is an awesome guy but not really a radio person. TBob is a good robin, but will never be a batman. Worst mistake 104.5 ever made was firing Jordy. Their two best guys are gone now with Hanny quitting.

They are the least knowledgeable on this. They are new and young but give them credit for trying. Maybe in a few years they will have “sources”.

Might be down to whether LSU gives him a $1M or $1.5M raise and a 7 or 10 yr guaranteed contract.
This deal was probably done months ago. To say there was a "search" is looking more and more like B.S. with every passing day.
