Volcano Spin Off Thread - World's Garbage Discussion

Ok - let's brainstorm something.
My grandson (age 7, no pix you sick freaks) is spending time with me & Mrs. Tigear on summer break. So that's fun.
He just asked me "Why can't we send all of our garbage to volcanoes to melt it all down? Wouldn't that solve pollution?"
Now, let's forgive him for generalizing "pollution".
But....is this possible...?

I mean couldn't we just use an incinerator? Seems like alot of logistics to get that much trash into an active volcano.
