Well, I wish I would have listened to the people that said college flies by. For 5 years, I got to live out nothing short of an absolute dream. There are too many people that I am forever indebted to for playing a part in letting me do just that. So for now, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. To my coaches and teammates every step along the way, thank you for the time, effort, and energy spent in helping me develop into the best baseball player and young man possible. I have been fortunate enough to form friendships, make memories, and learn lessons that I will carry with me throughout my life. To the game of baseball, you have been one of the biggest parts of my life from the time I can remember. The laughs and the cries, the wins and the losses, and everything in between have been more than worth it. To my friends and family, thank you. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices you made to allow this kid to live out a dream. Thank you. Lastly but certainly not least, to the greatest fans in college baseball, thank you for welcoming this kid from Alexandria, LA with open and loving arms. It’s meant the absolute world to me. As this huge chapter of my life closes, I am beyond excited to see what God presents me with next!

I didn’t list him in the other thread, but I wonder if the injury could have gotten him another year.

Great young man, would love to have him another year

Hate what happened to him this year, we could've definitely used him through the season. He's a good kid and comes from a good family. He'll be successful in whatever he ends up doing.

Not everyone will be a big leaguer and that’s just fine. Still got to live his dream for 5 years you can’t ask for more than that.

Holy crap I can't believe he's still on the team.

As a Cenla guy, I feel like most of the LSU contributions come from other spots in this state. It always feels good to see the guys from Alex on the team. ASH has done well for this school. Throw in a Northwood kid, and some guy from Bolton ( ;
Thank you sir for being a straight up class act example and representing yourself state, university, city, and high school.
Geaux Tiger, and thanks OP for sharing

Is it only fall sports for this academic year that eligibility doesn’t count against student-athletes?
For some reason I thought it was all sports for the 20-21 academic year
