In the end, Arkansas had the exact same season as LSU.

Out in the Supers.

Look at it this way Arky was supposed to win the national championship , LSU was supposed to lose in the opening weekend.
Lsu is a down year over achieved
Arky had a fantastic season and is sitting home next weekend they under achieved.

I'd argue it's way worse to have a series at home, win game 1 21-2, then still lose the series as the #1 overall seed.
