Tadlock coaching his alma mater, lifetime contract, obvious dream job etc., can LSU baseball program lure this big fish? Are we prestigious enough baseball job in college baseball that he can't say no to? He fits the Woodward profile IMO.

1. Tadlock
2a. Bianco
2b. McDonnell

Is the best coach in college baseball. Anyone who believes otherwise is over-thinking it and effected by recency bias.

Christ. How can you compare Bianco to McDonnell?

McDonnell: 5 CWS appearances in 14 seasons as a HC
Bianco: 1 CWS appearance in 22 seasons as a HC

If I wanted any coach in the country and no one could tell me no, my choices would be:

1) Tadlock
2) McDonnell

And I know a lot of people don't want Bianco because of one trip to Omaha in 20 years but I feel very confident he would do better here and wouldn't be upset if he's the guy.

Texas Tech was brutal before he arrived and has turned into a super program. He has done a great job there for sure.

He's a west Texas guy who's son just graduated from a local high school and is playing for a local college. He got a lifetime contract for a reason. He's going nowhere.

He just signed a lifetime contract with TTU. He’s staying put.
