That is all that needs to be said regarding this age topic.
Oh, and by the way, Coach K at Duke is 74.

How many threads are you gonna start repeating the same thing?
Posted on 6/9/21 at 9:53 pm to Skippy1013
Has he expressed interest?
Posted on 6/9/21 at 9:55 pm to Skippy1013
Steve Spurrier took the South Carolina job at 61 and coached there for 10 seasons

Watch when he gets negative recruited due to that age…

Hasn't won enough yet. Doesn't deserve the LSU job.

Yes, Saban is coming home and Bill is taking over for Nick

Nick Saban never retired and has won 7 national titles and is without question the greatest college coach, in any sport, of all time. You are comparing apples to a fricking Ferrari

And the coach of the decade we had here with 5 titles retired at 62.

Coach K and Skip were more impressive
K won his titles in a harder format with a landscape that changed way more than any other sport, and Skip basically built his whole sport

It's sad that you think that LSU baseball is on par with South Carolina football. What a terrible fan.

They probably don't know that actually. They don't want him bc he played a player that had legal issues and it wasn't even his call to make. His hands were tied and the athletic director made that call. He suspended him from the team himself if people forgot once that all came out. It wasn't his decision. That's a decision of people higher up the pay scale than a baseball head coach. Idiots.

There aren’t many like Nick saban and Pat Casey isn’t one of them. Don’t be stupid!

Posted in the other age thread:
Retirement ages of legendary college baseball coaches (recent).
Gene Stephenson: 67
Mike Martin: 75
Wayne Graham: 82
10-15 years from now, Vitello will either be a permanent fixture at Tennessee (similar time Corbin at Vandy) or showing what he can truly do. He’s a hot name but a risky hire with limited experience. Great season, but people willing to base his worth on one season alone is ludicrous

What are you referring to exactly? Casey is one of the best coaches in his field. He is 7 years younger than saban. Are you insinuating that Nick saban is some kind of physical superman? Nuts.
