I really don't think they have a choice given our current voting system. Even if they didn't want too something tells me they voted for Biden.

I know this isn’t a one size fits all example but I remember hearing somewhere that exit polling data from the 2018 midterms in Texas showed that more transplants who moved from places like California voted for Cruz over Beto and vice versa with native Texans.
Maybe not everyone fleeing these blue shitholes is voting Dem and you can’t count on natives from a red state voting that way (see here in Louisiana and how we ended up with JBE... twice. Not to mention Mary Landrieu all those years just a little while ago)
