Sure all of the higher ups at LSU would like to play a game in TX due to recruiting considerations. However, LSU has already made tremendous established in-roads into TX for recruiting.

We have an emerging recruiting in-road into the Atlanta area (Sheppard, Riley, T-Bob, Minter, Calhoun) as well as several recent near misses (Caleb King, Cameron Heyward). Also, BAMA recently played a game there and given their relative proximity to ATL they may infringe upon our emerging progress.

So why not play in the GA Dome? Alleva already stated it would be the safest choice.

I was thinking maybe we should play in California somewhere. Might help with recruting over there.

i don't mind playing there. the only issue i have is, who gets tix to the game. you will 25,000 people who will have to be refunded for tix that they already paid for. do they use the point system to choose who gets tix.

if moved away from ts, will it be televised to accomodate for the paying fans that were left out on tix.

guys it's N Texas , just play in their backyard, but make sure you get the majority of the revenue, N Texas will be thrilled just to have the defending NC at home, they won't mind getting fricked at home.

Since Miles stated they want to keep the game in this state, I think the chances of Shreveport are greater than either Dallas or Atlanta.

We'd have a horrible showing in Atlanta. I'll go if it's in Dallas, but heck no to Atlanta! I go there once a year anyways.

I guess you missed this part?

Alleva said that LSU has spoken to Dallas, New Orleans, Shreveport and Atlanta regarding hosting Saturday's game and said it appears Atlanta is currently the best choice should the game be moved.

Maybe then we can play Georgia in the Georgia Dome this year instead of at Tiger Stadium.

Judging from the way Bama and Auburn faired against ConfUSA teams this weekend and unless Miami is that much improved on defense then it looks like there is a good chance of us seeing UGA in the GA Dome. In December.
