I go there ever other week for work. Stay on the Texas side. There is zero entertainment there.
There is a great burger place on the Arkansas side called TLC. I highly recommend it.

The laws have changed, but Texarkana used to be a hub to pick up Coors beer, and bootleg it to Southeastern hubs like Atlanta.
