Also agree with Curate suggestion as it was delicious

Really liked Curate'. Also enjoyed Limones and haven't seen it posted yet.

Didn't make it to Bull & Butcher or Admiral but those were also ones on our list.

Omni Grove Park Inn is really nice for an evening drink with a view. They have beer from local breweries available such as Asheville Brewing.

The Whale Craft Beer Collective is awesome, but also not an easy walk from downtown.

Best beer selection in town.

Haven't seen anyone mention it, but I'd add Zambra to your list of dinner restaurants. Great tapas restaurant like Curate (as some have mentioned on here). Their menu changes a lot too, so they always have some interesting dishes on their menu.

Uber and Lyft are up an operable, for any who are wondering. Mask thing is light years better than a couple weeks ago. Still lots of places only open Thursday-Sun though.

Wicked weed is cool.

We went to a bunch of places but none of them came close to the food Limones. Place was fantastic.

Sierra Nevada is a cool place to hang out.

Early Girl Eatery- country ham biscuit

Nah, get the sausage breakfast bowl, add country ham to it, and add a biscuit on the side.

One of my favorite Asheville meals ever was the burger with pimento cheese at UJ.

Early Girl just isn’t that great to me. It looks the part. They can tell you which farm the grits came from and who raised the pork. They have employeed a wide variety of ironic mustaches, hot mountain chicks with impressive arm sleeves and the appropriate quota of non-binaries. But the food just isn’t all that. It’s been consistently under seasoned in my 3 trips. Biscuit head and Sunny point are better imo. And probably Tupelo Honey

I've had some very good things there and some that I thought were pretty bad.

I went to Early Girl last trip and it was pretty good, but certainly not worth going out of your way.

ETA: It was the backup plan after Sunny Point Cafe was packed.

How's the mask situation going?

Definites for food are Zambra, Red Ginger, and Cucina 24. Otherwise will be winging it. Walkable bar recs to downtown are welcome.

The mask deal is much better this trip. No issue at all really with people making you wear them, though lots of people still are. Not everything is fully open though. I don’t know if it’s lack of help or what but it’s still Thursday-Sunday at lots of places.

Other than breweries and usual recs, drinking places I like downtown are Lazy Diamond (cool little dive bar), Jack of the Wood (laid back pub with good music and heavy pours) and One World Brewing’s downtown location. It’s located about 3 floors underneath Farm Burger. It’s like a dark dungeon you’ll lose track of time in, with good beer and spectacular mountain wookies.

Early Girl use to be on point but sold a few years back. Their quality is trash now. Still has the old school tourist hype but isn't worth the time.

Unfortunately Lazy Diamond closed. RIP.
