Why the dislike of Kevin O'Sullivan?

I dont think it's a strong dislike, just more of a he's a seasoned older guy who has done really well although some would also say could have done even better with some teams he's had. I think a lot of people want a younger hungrier hire in here than an older re-tread type of hire.

I also realize he's not THAT old - turning 53 this year, but he's certainly been around the block and it's honestly a little weird he'd leave Florida for here. I mean fan support and program support is definitely not as good as here, but they pay him well and he has zero issues getting elite talent in there as it stands.

If he were the coach at LSU with that exact same resume people would want him fired. And he has had more talent at Florida than CPM has had at LSU.

For the record, while not my first choice I would be happy to get him. I just see why some people are hesitant.

Accomplishments not at all different from Maineri. Very, very similar.

IMO those stats are better than Paul’s.......

people who dont like him are stupid... he is very much of the mold as to what is needed.. but there are personal issues working against him, and they are MAJOR personal issues... there is a reason he is open to leaving florida...
