Coaches drop LSU after suffering the worst storm in Baton Rouge's history?? Nice of the coaches to do that.
LINK to both polls
I think Illinois just scored again on Mizzou's defense, a week after that game. Mizzou's a solid little team, but I'm sorry, they are just not on par with the USCs, Oklahomas, Floridas, and LSUs of the world, I don't care who our QB is.

shouldnt be to shocked here....you cant expect them to give LSU special treatment

It's actually a good thing that the voters have finally started moving teams up are down, based upon how they play, rather than just keeping a team that won in its same position.
That's how LSU jumped from 7 to 2 in the final poll, to play in the BCSCG.

I know they played a terrible team, but still, being up 42-0 5 minutes into the second quarter is absolutely dominating.

One of these guys ... I'm gonna go with Richt because he wants to play Ohio State in the Championship Game and who could blame him?

I GUARANTEE Tress didn't vote us #1.

Notre Dame receiving votes is a disgrace. They struggled very badly with San Diego State at home.

+1
I dont mind the drop. We didnt even play, I didnt expect us to move up and actually I thought we might even drop more depending on how some teams played. This poll doesnt matter anyways, its the final one that matters. There are 5 SEC teams in the top 11. That will soon change too once we all start playing each other.
