Dude,
Although I do not totally disagree with your post, I have to say that Les is trying to instill competition in the minds of the QBs & RBs. By this way I guess he is throwing the starting position up for grabs.
Also I see that he is trying to distribute the carries to all the RBs so that everyone can see some playing time and the best performer on a particular Saturday gets the nod for more carries. I don't see that as a problem and as long as we taste success. However with regards to QBs I definitely see that JL being sidelined a little bit. Also Les may be thinking that JL is not able to handle pressure when the pocket collapses. On the other hand JJ is mobile and is able to elude tacklers.

We will have to wait and see if his formula translates to a NC for LSU

Thats a good one.. I agree. we ain't got no one else..

:-)
I agree brother.. This will for all certainity happen.. Some miracle should happen to prevent the downward plunge of this LSU program..

Felt very sorry for the players though.
Good Job... This pretty much explain the deal. He is an average coach who fits a middle tier BIG-12 or BIG-10 school.

This CLOWN has to leave and take everybody on this staff with him

Ellis Johnson from South Carolina would be my choice. His defense is awesome. It is atrocious what he was able to acheieve there with very limited talent
DISAPPROVE 100%. I don't want this buffoon as our coach
Supposedly an OL expert as he played OL under BO in Michigan.
Figured even that is a big bogus the way out OL performed this year.

He just need to GTFO. No emotions or No sound basics whatsoever.

Nah... Alhough will seem better, but not a good fit.. We need and deserver much better than that

"C" for coaching is being very kind. I would probably give them "D-"

After I read this I feel better. Just about has everything I thought and wanted to convey. I am too sick to even type thinking about Saturday.

Cap One is not a BCS bowl. All other predictions include only 2 teams from the BCS Conferences. May be Big East Champion will play in the Sugar or Orange if they have a overall better record
The reason I say that was because we are not sure if the players all got used to the new scheme of things and whether or not it is good

2009 Season Record of LSU-Prediction

Guys,
My friend & I have been debating about this for a few days now. I said our record next season would be 9-3 with potential losses to Florida at home plus at OleMiss/Bama Plus @ Georgia.
The reason I say this is we have a new defensive coordinator and coaching staff (on the defensive side of the ball). The spring game did not give us a fair idea of what will happen this season.
Just my guess.

We will probably play in the Cap One bowl against Penn State

My Bowl Predictions

NC: Florida Vs Texas

Sugar Bowl: Ole Miss Vs Oregon

Rose Bowl: USC Vs Ohio State

Orange Bowl: VTech/UNC/FL State/BC Vs Utah/Boise State/TCU

Fiesta Bowl: OU Vs Iowa

Cap One Bowl: LSU Vs Penn state

What you all say?

Whats the deal with Marlon Favourite & Colt David? Both are good players and still undrafted?
Good for him. Join Early Doucet...

:geauxtigers:
Can somebody please give stats on D? Wanted to know how much better it would be from last year's after the Malveto departure.

Please...
I know Harry Coleman is good. Somebody should teach him to STFU and play solid ball
Before we jump in to any conclusions on the Defense, don't forget we have a new Defensive coaches and they are still untested as far as LSU coaches goes. I am not a big fan of Mustang Packages.. Bump & run...
I guess Saban's first game against Meyer was the SECCG game. How could he have a 0-2 record?
