Schools are going to make it such a pain in the arse that most kids are going to end up getting the vaccine. Vaccinated students will get to go maskless, no quarantine if exposed, and unvaccinated students will be constantly tested.

Just because you’re skeptical of the COVID vaccine doesn’t make you anti-vaxx. You can’t bucket ~40% of the adults who haven’t taken the vaccine into an anti-vaxx rhetoric.

Personally, I will take it with more time. Otherwise, I am fully vaccinated on the routine ones and my children will be as well. I will not give my kid the COVID 19 vaccine until much much later. Like years later

With just some minor nuance, this is my line of thought. I’m no anti-vaxxer, but weighing my COVID mortality risk against taking a brand new vaccine, I choose to wait.

Not a fan of the requirement but vaccines have always been required to attend a university. COVID-19 is a little different but there are exemption processes normally.

Covid is A LOT different. Most universities require vaccines that you got when you were a kid and had no idea what was happening. And those vaccines had decades of data to base your decision on.

Uva has really declined. And it happened almost overnight.

They actually have protests now, where students wave signs, and the they yell and shout at people.

It’s super trashy.

And it’s sad, and it’s because of the awful people in the administration who have made it their mission to destroy UVAs culture. UVA was a school for Virginia gentleman, and a place that put values, like honor, and integrity, first.

I guess I’m just amused at this point.

But these jackasses are really beneath us.

Fine. Louisiana has required the Chicken Pox vaccine for school-aged children since 2003. Not exactly a deadly disease for most kids.

You would sense incorrectly. Why would enrollment decline? Your post doesn’t make sense

If you’re scared of taking the shot, just say so.

It’s ok if you’re afraid.

But the for the folks who are against the vaccine, they won't be appeased when the vaccines do have that full approval.

Why would they be? What is the point in college age people getting a vaccine for something that basically doesn't affect them?
