Yes, when they’re storming government buildings and putting members of Congress in danger then I’m ok with it. He doesn’t know what weapons are behind that door once it’s breached.

He thinks it’s funny cuz it lets him troll the board. Because, as noted earlier, he’s unserious about life.

Fascinating.
All with not a single legal argument.
It's a somewhat subjective determination. Generally, lethal force is justified if the officer has a reasonable belief that lethal force is necessary to prevent imminent death or serious injury. The cops there behind that door (and around the entire Capitol) were extremely outnumbered. Had that door gone down, a flood of people would have come through putting the lives of the members of congress in danger.
Again, it's very sad all the way around. Given the totality of the circumstances though, I can understand the fear of that crowd overrunning them as soon as one person started to come through.

I’d love to see your posts if it was an Antifa goon shot while attacking the federal building in Portland
I’m sure they’d be the exact same as you’re nothing if nothing intellectually honest

Fair. Now what about every other cop who has had a justified shooting of someone? We know the names of the cop who shot Rayshard Brooks and Andrew Brown Jr. Those were both determined to be justified shooting. Why is the shooting of this white woman not treated the same? We deserve to know the name of the cop who shot her or every cop shooting in America needs to be protected until the shooting has been adjudicated. I would rather all police shootings be named. What is your opinion.

Apparently that doorway was the last line of defense the cops had to protect the members of congress from a very large mob.
Do you mean after the unarmed 'insurrectionists' penetrated the multiple USCP officers in SWAT gear with muh long rifles who were giving the 'insurrectionists' a guided tour and who stood by while the 'insurrectionists' broke the glass on the door and who gave the shooter the thumbs up after he shot her?

How many buildings have been razed and looted by the group Babbitt was apart of?
How many have been by BLM?
What equivalence does shooting a masked entity associated with a violent group have with shooting an un masked, unarmed Air Force veteran?

I’d rather they be kept confidential until the investigation is complete.

Sure. Then we have to take every police officers word when they say they feared for their lives. If it's subjective who are you to tell a cop they aren't afraid for their life?

We’re about personal responsibility here. Would you defend the ANTIFA member breaching the door to the federal courthouse and getting smoked by security as vociferously as you’re defending this white MAGA lady also breaching a federal building during a violent demonstration?
I don’t think you would be.

Also fair and I agree with you in principal but you and I both know that's not how it works in America today. Based on everything else involving shootings that were later determined to be justified shootings do we not deserve to know who shot Babbitt? I'm tired of trying to take the high road.

Well that's when a prosecutor/jury has to determine if it was reasonable or not.

Absolutely not but I promise you that the second that an ANTIFA rioter was shot by a federal officer that cop's name would be publicized hourly across the nation. It's the double standard that bothers me.

In a non-politicized setting where justice was a concern, that cop is facing charges. It’s not that subjective. His actions didn’t meet the Capitol police use of force policy.

What prosecutor/jury said Babbitt's shooting was justified? Again, the cop who shot Rayshard Brooks has never been found guilty of anything, and even recently reinstated to his job, but we know his name. Stop excusing your side from police shootings.

And the same people who literally celebrated Ashli Babbit’s death would be screaming about killer cops.

Exactly and I don't think her shooting was unjustified (downvote away). I just hate the double standard that we know the name of cops who make justified shots but we will never know this cop's name. Either that has to be the standard going forward, and the name of a cop involved in a shooting isn't publicized until found guilty, or we publicize the name of every cop shooting that happens. I prefer the former. It appears Boosie, mickey, and others want the names of cops who shoot conservatives protected but not protect the names of cops who shoot others. Be consistent.

I didn’t say anything about revealing his identity other than I think all should be kept confidential while the investigation is done.
All of my comments have been about this laughably justified shooting of a person trying to overrun the Capitol and placing members of Congress in danger while participating in a violent mob attempting to stop the peaceful transition of power
