They matter when you’re 11-16 in the SEC

I don't think the committee is gonna care all too much about this one. The issue I see is that the players don't seem to care about it when it's time to get into making a run mode.

I wonder if coach Mainieri is going to get to 1500 wins ?

The sec is the class of college baseball. We beat each other up. I mean come on boat what do you expect Paul to do?

It’s going to come together just give Paul some time.

LSU’s big bullet in its chamber is the RPI.

Lost this one and we might drop many spots.

Paul Mainieri is a visionary. He will see the light and break the chains that hold this team back. He could write books on baseball. He is not wicked like the Devil. Mainieri has faith in his team. His path to Omaha will come to fruition. He is working out the details to get this program back to Prominence.

My thinking is that the committee is gonna take into account that our RPI is only high because of SOS anyway. So, if it falls a few spots it won't be that big of a deal to them. One midweek game won't sway them one way or the other IMO.

Isn’t LSU undefeated in midweek games so far? Get to 14-16 and this shite doesn’t matter

They matter a little. What is LSU’s RPI right now ? Around 18. What do you think their RPI would be if they had lost a few mid weeks ? A lot higher. So yes, at the end of the day they do matter !!

Sooooo.... take LSU's midweek games and make half of them losses with the SEC W/L record LSU has. Do that and what are the odds LSU does anything post season?

At 14-16 it doesn’t matter, but makes me more nervous about 13-17. Felt like we had a shot of getting in at 13-17 earlier today, but I’m a little less confident now that the RPI will drop some

No, it isn’t. Our goal is getting to a regional and having a chance to make it to Omaha. Demons have had a solid baseball program for a long time.

Good win...sure. But not close to our Super Bowl.

I wonder... does Matt think LSU would get in with this SEC record, if LSU were to lose EVERY mid week game?

One of the guys on the committee talked today on 104.5 and said tonight’s game doesn’t matter if they win 2 games this weekend their in and even if they win one game this weekend and win 2 in Hoover their in the committee counts Hoover wins towards total conference wins. Yes it blows we lost tonight I’m looking at like this maybe it makes this team that more focused because they looked out of it tonight
