The reason the de-masking moved so fast

I think most people had finally started seeing through the mask bullshite. I noticed less and less people wearing them, paying attention to the stupid floor markers, or any other of the nonsense. Businesses did not care at all about enforcing it, unless the employee was some whacked out Karen.
I think the government recognized that people were starting to take back their freedom on their own without the ruling class consent. Before it got to far out of hand, they quickly gathered up and decided they wanted to be the ones to proclaim the masks were over. So the narrative could be focused on them giving back freedoms, and not the people taking their freedoms back themselves.

Wrong.
Code was already written. Just needed to be downloaded and installed.
Autoupdates and all that.

Don’t be fooled the real reason was the terrible job numbers. Purely political theater

That and they saw states such as FL and TX remove mandates. Once they saw there was no spike, they realized they can’t spread “Neanderthalic fear” anymore. FedGov look like idiots.

They had to divert the public's attention from everything else going to hell in a handbasket. Otherwise the fairy tale would continue. When we were kids a fairy tale started out "once upon a time". Now it begins "Let me be clear".

I find it amazing how quickly the sheep pivoted to mask shaming...my company had to send out an email to everyone today explaining those who chose to still wear a mask should be respected and supported. The same Karens that couldn't even two weeks ago are not giving people shite for not being vaccinated and continuing to wear the mask...we live in a clown world.

Agreed. States, counties, and just people themselves were leaving the CDC behind and laughing at them. The CDC realized they had lost the PR battle, and cut their losses. Instead of fighting a losing battle they swapped the narrative to look like the heros themselves.

I think the White House started realizing how stupid the President looked all the time while Alpha World leaders were not wearing masks.

I really hope this was a factor, because my god we look like a bunch of spineless pussies being led by that weak old man hiding behind a mask on a fricking zoom

Most democrat bigger cities (including Atlanta) have said they are still requiring masks inside govt buildings...proving it’s not about the science.

There’s lot of truth to this. Rand and Tucker really exposed that fraud. They couldn’t cover for him anymore.

The key to a business decision is avoiding lawsuits.
If some idiot gets sick and sues a store they have to have defenses like:
We don't allow anyone without a mask.
We have plexiglass all over.
We have warning signs all over.
So the reason we had all these stupid restrictions is that America is the most litigious nation in the world. That's why so many foreign comics make jokes like 'I went to America and wanted to fit in..so I'd sued someone.'

Most of us saw how stupid he looked way before this.

True, but I think that really had to be eye opening for the dems and no way they could start letting President walk that back without doing it at the CDC.

They'll get neither. Not sure why they need respect or support.

Enjoy your trips to HR for re-education. It is your civic duty to support and encourage the delusions of your fellow countryman!

Wearing masks is now a protected class of worker.
