PM froze his own kicker.

I know he's not trying to sabotage LSU, but for the life of me I can't find a reasonable explanation for the bone headed coaching blunders.
He literally did the equivalent of calling 3 time outs to freeze a kicker.

Crews has been one of the best hitters in the SEC this year. Having a chat during an at bat didn't cause him to strike out and not swing at a pitch.

I have no idea. I know that it didn't make him not swing and strike out. It's an insult to Crews to think that it did. There's no way that he's that weak minded.

Yep, so coach should keep his mouth shut and let the kid play.
PM cannot say one word to Crews that would make him a better or more disciplined hitter. Not a damn thing.

You may be right. But, that still doesn't mean that PM caused him to strikeout. Talking to a player during an at bat isn't an uncommon thing. I'm sure Crews has dealt with it before.

He was probably talked to by someone that knows something about hitting and believes that hitters can be coached. PM doesn’t believe that though and has said so.
Again, PM did nothing to help Crews there. Crews knows more about hitting than PM.

Probably told him something like
"Look Dylan you're one of our best hitters but don't be a hero. The count is 3-1 and a 2 run homer here doesn't us no good. Do what you can to get on base"
Crews proceeds to take 2 close pitches for strikes and we ironically get that 2R HR with the next batter.

If you watch Paul’s lips you can clearly see him tell Crews to be careful this at bat as Beauxcefus is watching.

I get what you're saying TL but you don't call your best hitter over in the middle of an at-bat when he's already worked the count to 3-1. That's just fricking stupid.
