This Country Has Lost Its Spirit

The government told us to just stay inside our homes, and if we obey, then maybe we’ll be be lucky enough to get our freedoms back someday. Idk what’s more depressing to think about...the fact that so many were willing to comply (sacrificing freedom for safety) or the fact that so many were naive enough to believe they had to rely on the government to give their rights back them. How did we get here?

Our government is full of bad leadership and corruption. It permeates through at every level. I think it’s because our best and brightest simply don’t want to go into government roles because you get into the muck and it’s probably pretty depressing.
I think you are seeing some of the worst among us attempt to lead and it’s a disaster full of government overrreach with negative results
