I don’t hoard ammo. When I was shooting handguns I kept 50,000 plus round on hand via reloading. 18.00 for 5,000 small pistol wolf primers, 40.00 for 5 pounds of powder, 35.00 for a 10,000 box of 124gr bullets. A Dillon 550 and I could just crank out rounds. But I was shooting 3-5,000 a week sometimes more.

I don’t hoard toilet paper but I buy 2-3 bulk packs at a time at Sams. Charmin Red. I take a gout med that gives me the shits and I will not run out of toilet paper. I don’t do this because of a national shortage, I just have always liked having a secure source because a lot of places I’ve lived in places that you couldn’t always count on having some.

I’m not a gas hoarder. I have a 300 gallon tank of real gas (no ethanol) and a gravity pump at my house because I don’t want to look for non ethanol gas stations. I drive non flex fuel vehicles and the ethanol is bad for them, especially the 2 stroke engines.

Lol

Get mad at people with foresight to prepare. You are as shitty as the people who blame others for their failures.

You are the sheep. Don't come begging around here if the shite ever hits the fan. You will be turned into mutton chops.

Dead on!

Lots of people like to shoot, and everyone takes a shite and drives a vehicle.

If you look at expenses over a year instead of week to week, it's almost always more economical to buy in bulk for things you go through. And filling the tank up instead of putting $5 in the tank every couple days- keeps the fuel system cleaner.

When the SHTF, I’ll shoot you with my ammo, take a dump on you then wipe with my TP, and then pour my gas on your corpse and light you on fire. Thanks for leaving me enough AMMO, gas and TP.

I wouldn’t consider myself a hoarder. Family of 5, and i keep at least 20 rolls of shite tickets, and 10 gallons of gas for my mower and whatnot. Don’t have ammo cause i don’t own guns, but i don’t fault folks for stocking up. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Different perspectives, I guess.

This doesn't sound like hoarding.

This sounds like a guy who tries to live his life the way he wants to, by planning and expenditure of funds.

Ammo- reloaders aren't the ones keeping the shelves bare. He didn't clean out Bass Pro, because he didn't buy the ammo. He bought components and rolled his own. If you're looking for Winchester White Box or Blazer Brass, you're not competing with him.

Toilet paper- dude likes one brand that he gets in bulk at Sam's. I guess if you're looking for that specific brand there, then you're competing with him. But we all gotta take a shite, and nobody wants to run out. And after having to snake out a sewer line a couple times because Cottonelle doesn't break down (go ahead and look it up), I can understand the desire for a specific brand.

Gas- running ethanol free. I've had to do the Seafoam treatment on mowers before, and I've seen a generator tank not drained correctly and full of rust because of the ethanol. As a result, I don't store a lot of gas in cans for yardwork, but I also don't use a lot. If I did, I could certainly consider doing exactly what he's done- a 300 gallon tank of ethanol free.

Sounds a lot like he was doing these things years before any shortages, and never bothered anyone.
