I’ll believe the A’s are moving when it finally happens. They were rumored to be gone at least as far back as the end of the 1979 season and were supposedly heading to Denver. They’ve been saber rattling for years about possibly moving.

But I guess at some point, Vegas or Nashville is going to give them enough public money to do it. Don’t know about Portland but given how liberal Oregon is, I can’t see Portland shelling out public money to build a stadium. I could be wrong.

The “Las Vegas Aces” is such a good wasted team name with it being in the WNBA.

In a perfect world, all the cities would have a similar stance to the stadium building issue and the owners would actually have to pay from their own pocket to build these things.

If they really want to move they will

Rams got shite for leaving St Louis but Sofi stadium was privately financed

Why wouldn't they use the brand new Las Vegas Ballpark?

Nashville already has plans for an MLB stadium. Right next to the football stadium and just across the river from downtown. Plus Nashville is booming.

And the pity for Oakland vanishes, like the baseball team.

Even better. The A's were and still are trying to buy the Coliseum site from the cash strapped city of Oakland but you have people and politicians doing everything they can to screw that up.

It really sucks being a conservative A's fan watching dumbass hippies and liberals fricking over their fellow citizens, businesses and municipalities by shooting down each and every A's proposal.

They literally had a plan in place to move to Laney College, buy land and build a new stadium there. The plan made sure to incorporate cooperative planning and building with local businesses. It also budgeted to give cash money, no strings attached to Laney College.

I shite you not Laney College shut it down because it wasn't enough free money. Laney College is deeply in debt and they objected to the project and got it defeated because they weren't being given enough free money.

fricking liberals and socialists and hippies and fricking cancer.

It seats less than 15000 and is open air

Vegas heat is miserable june-august at least

They would need retractable roof
