The playoff has inarguably made college football worse off than it was in the BCS era.
So lets DOUBLE down and further entrench the same teams who will compete for a title every year while sucking the meaning out of the regular season.

How has it made it worse? If we had the old system Bama would still be dominating it, all the playoff does is give more chances to other teams. You traditionalists are so devoid of logic

Disagree. Expand the playoffs and recruiting changes. You see the same constant groupies that want to go to the same 4-5 schools each year because “their chance at the playoffs.” You open that up to a number of schools and recruiting widens a little bit. Texas, USC, Miami all aren’t holding their weights. The kids that normally go to these schools flock to Alabama and Ohio St.

The regular season would have a hell of a lo t more meaning if every conference champion made the playoff. Not sure why this is so hard for some of y'all to understand.
