There was a very decent chance she should have lost to Felecia Moore in the primary. Moore is an objectively better black female candidate with a ton of powerful backers.
Moore is Atlantas best hope, and I have to wonder if part of Keishas plan is to open up that primary and lessen the chance her enemy wins it.

Atlanta was 67% black in 1990 at 394k. That number dropped all the way down to 51% by 2014. The city has since added another 50-60k, and most are not African American. Math may not be your thing though.

Good, she’s terrible. Her handling of the Rayshard Brooks shooting and the subsequent complete demoralization of the APD alone, not to mention all the bullshite political posturing against Kemp (Who sucks, too, for the record.) with mask mandates, shutdowns, etc. were more than enough to make me think she’s an idiot.

True. Last time I had jury duty half the pool was white. Pretty shocking. I hear KLB has hired all her sorority sisters (Delta apparently).and the whole thing is a catty sh@@show and no one can make a decision. Have not heard any real corruption rumors just plain old incompetence.

Thank God. Homicides are up 60% through May of this year and we aren’t even into the summer months. She’s in over her head and pandering to BLM and handcuffing the police force. Glad they got Dwight Howard’s dipshit uncle out as DA in Fulton too and will soon be riddle Keyshuh.

Kasim Reed wasn't shite as mayor but he was better than bottoms. I could see a white liberal dem becoming the next mayor.

I visit sandy springs all the time to see my wife's best friends both of them 27 living in a $500k house both of them and their neighbors proudly voted for Biden.
The suburbs 100% went blue due to upper class whites voting Dem.
It's a trend that's happening everywhere.
Low wage blue collar whites are now voting for GOP. Upper class suburban whites are now voting for Dems

I grew up there and the HS I went to is almost 65% AA and it was about 1% when I graduated.
All those apartments along Roswell Rd just inside the Perimeter to Northridge are subsidized housing.
No doubt upper class libs live in the area and voted blue but they aren't the reason for the shift in the 6th district.

That was an OMB thing more than anything though. Supporting Trump made you a pariah in that sort of social circle so they vocally opposed him in order to continue being invited to parties and not lose "friends." It happened in suburbs all across the country for the same reason.
