Per Dandy Don this morning, it sounds like A&M and Florida have contacted the Finley's family about possibly joining their programs. I didn't think another SEC program would entertain bringing him in. Either way, great news for TJ!

Agree but why not Michigan, Nebraska or USC or something? He’s a dangerous quarterback

If it's SEC I'd rather Tennessee or UGA as opposed to teams we play on a yearly basis.

Hope the best for Finley.

If he thinks he won't get competition for QB at either school, he is mistaken. He may want to aim lower to get a more guaranteed starting spot.

He’s headed east and not in conference.

Pretty sure we wouldn't allow transfer to teams we play every year. I think that's the norm.

Im not surprised. TJ has plenty of talent and upside. Some people on here fail to realize that and never really gave him a shot from the day he signed. The kid did pretty damn well for the hand he was dealt as a true freshman quarterback coming in with all the Covid distractions/practice guidelines. Jimbo and Mullen will get the most out of him.

That’s good news. That tells me that Florida and A&M are not confident about their QB situation.

I do hope Finley goes outside of the SEC and has success.

beyond happy for TJ, but I'd really rather him go succeed somewhere in the ACC or Big 12. Don't want to have to root against the kid should he go to Florida.

Both are great choices.

A&M

Not surprising, Finley is in that same mold as Jamarcus, EJ Manuel, Jameis Winston that Fisher loves.

Not sure why he would go to A&M. They have a solid crop of QBs and commits already (Connor Weigman 5* dual threat QB). He wouldn't play there either.

Although Connor very well may not even make it to college as he is a highly touted baseball player.

He definitely should NOT play for Mullen. Mullen's offense is so much more dynamic when he has a somewhat mobile QB.

The other schools prefer to wait and see if Brennan enters the portal at some point.

That tells me that neither has much of a QB. I have no concerns about LSU's Defense vs. TJ Finley. We just saw Finley against the LSU Defense in the Spring Game and it was good enough for TJ to finish 4th in the QB race. So let him go wherever he wants. Bye and good luck.

Florida lol He does remind me of Felipe Franks honestly. Big guy. Cannon arm. Just poor foot work and accuracy

South Carolina is also interested. I know they remember him well.
