The better question is how to get centipede out of your growing bermuda lawn.

Sethoxydim - same active ingredient in Vantage (mentioned above), High Yield Grass Killer, and some other brands. Expect some temporary yellowing of the centipede.

if mother nature wants bermuda to take over your centipede lawn, who are you to stop it? why are you going to put up a fight when mother nature is undefeated. the conditions of your lawn may be better suited for bermuda.
