See I think they probably credit those prior malicious behaviors on their part for Trump's defeat. Thus they'd take the tactics and tricks (that were probably "improved and innovated" over that relatively short time) and deploy same against Desantis in hopes for identical outcome.

And even since January 6th the left doesn't seem to have slowed down with their rhetoric and shite-stirring. They don't even know how to act right of they tried.

Yeah, maybe. They tried to bluff it out for a while, but they have pulled back on the divisive rhetoric. I think some of their more crazy actors have been told to cool it or else.

Desantis is making most of the right moves. He comes across as genuine. I like him and think he stands the best chance of upending Biden and Harris. We'll see.

that as we speak there's some corrupt foreign intelligence agency or agencies putting together some campaign research "information" on Desantis? I would barely flinch over it tbh. I expect that such is and will be going on.

This is likely accurate. I also won’t be surprised if it’s something Kavanaughish like some kind of allegation from DeSantis’ college days.

The left always has this demented sense of revenge. Now that he has spoken out to "protect our girls" dont be surprised its an allegation by some woman that was an underage babysitter from 20 years ago. She cant describe the incident in detail, his house, or even the address or time, but that was never important, and the FBI will never check the bank accounts of her nearest relatives to see what large transactions were deposited offshore.

Dang they're gonna be upset.....they'd talked themselves into believing he was gonna be sent straight to Alcatraz at any moment, Gaetz that is.

A whole bunch of moments have passed, unfortunately for them.

DeSantis should be the choice even if Trump foolishly decides to run again. We need to move on and not embrace losers.

No it’s not. The morons who actually believe Xiden didn’t cheat think they slayed Hitler. The ones who realize Xiden is a fake, don’t care and tried to move the Masters out of Georgia and want to raise capital gains taxes to 40%

I'll take it under advisement, but there's also a couple/few more tens of millions of loyal Trump supporters who you need to convince.

The local along with the national media is trying so hard to "get" him. They reaize how much power and support he is gaining. Funny how the media always attacks any threat to the left.

At 36 years of age he would've just barely made the 35 year age requirement to run for President. A lot of folks don't realize how young a fella he is. 42 y.o. at present

I may not have been clear, I mean I wonder what sort of governor he’d be if he didn’t have Trump as president. We all saw some politicians get a little bolder after Trump showed them it could work, and I just wonder how much of DeSantis’ backbone came from that and how much he already had.

It's probably more like I wasn't reading carefully enough. That's on me.

To that point though, I'd have to go with there would be a notable reduction in backbone and bravado had Trump not rode into town.
