Capitol Police on why they haven't released the officer's name that killed Ashli Babbitt

When asked why it’s chosen not to disclose the name of Babbitt’s shooter, the U.S. Capitol Police told Forbes in an email that this is “standard procedure when there are concerns for an officer’s safety, as there are in this case.”
If this is the standard, why are other police agencies forced to release names of officers literally hours after shootings before all facts are heard? We obviously know the answer. It's just a shame that we will allow her death to fade into history, while cities literally burn to the ground over the deaths of others. I just want transparency from police in all cases, not just the ones the media deems appropriate.

Because the officer is a Dem that shot and killed an unarmed Republican. Pretty simple actually.

My rather recently developed conspiratorial thinking is, there is a LOT more to this story than we are being led to believe.
I can’t even say I really believe she died that day, despite the funeral, family law suits and such.
Too many conspiracy facts that muddy up the conspiracy theories.

But we knew the name within the hour of that hero cop who killed the attempted murderer.

Personally, I don't think it's as much a matter of potential nefarious conspiracy as it is plain ole just not giving a flying f*ck when it comes to a victim of this particular description. In this instance they're blatantly exempting themselves from the universally-accepted standards involving any other officer-involved shooting, i.e. fair and forthcoming investigation, including identification of all parties involved. They just woke up one day after this event and said "hell with it, we'll handle this however the hell we want because who's gonna stop us?" But mark my words, karma will even things out eventually.

So they have received credible threats or is this a charade to keep from outing him?

They are concerned about his safety because they know he’s guilty of some level of criminal homicide and they’re guilty of a cover up.

Seems like an obvious answer. Other agencies are not Capitol police.

He murdered her
It was certainly not a justified homicide.

I don’t know about “a lot.” I would guess that Officer Byrd scrubbed his online stuff pretty well before we could take a gander at his anti-Trump and anti-Trump-voter rhetoric.

Every news agency knows the name of the officer that shot Ashli Babbitt. The fact they don’t want to release it lets you know there’s something(s) to hide.

But LeBron can’t tweet pictures of cops saying “you’re next” with no repercussions.
When will conservatives in this country stand up against this tyranny?

It really is. Our government is completely rotten and evil.

Show me a funeral, or an obit that's not from some odd website. Something just doesn't seem right.

That's rich. Cops all over the country have a target on their asss and that target is being magnified by people like Maxine Waters and King LeBitch but this guy that shot an unarmed female through a damn door gets "safety" protection
