Your favorite pass rusher likely went to a nobody football school

Michael Strahan - Texas Southern
Jason Taylor - Akron
Demarcus Ware and Osi Uminyora - Troy
Jared Allen - Idaho St
Robert Mathis - Bama A&M
Elvis Dumervil - Louisville
Chandler Jones - Syracuse
JPP - USF
James Harrison - Kent St
Khalil Mack - Buffalo
Demarcus Lawrence - Boise St

But they all put up insane numbers at those schools.

Because NFL caliber players tend to dominate guys who will coach HS OL in a couple years.

Turner and Davenport are both physical freaks and don’t produce like that.

Trey Hendrickson had 23 sacks his last 2 years at FAU. That’s in the same conference as Turner.

This guy is physically insane looking.

Why wasn’t he buttfricking AAC tackles?

I really don't care what conference a player comes from, but this is starting to irk me... Houston isn't in CUSA. Houston is in AAC. Doesn't change what level player he is one bit, but damn

Cause he was playing inside up until last year.
In 5 games last year he looked really good on the edge.

He has only been playing defensive end for 3 years and was hurt for a year of that.

This is a upside pick.

He only played 5 games vs tackles and he had 5 sacks.

Turner’s 5 game stats rival that of the 2020 DEs that went in the top 50 picks last year (outside of chase young). And they played 11-12-13 games

Turner - 5 games - 25 tackles, 10.5 TFL, 5 sacks

Chaisson - 13 games - 60 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 6.5 sacks

Gross-Mator - 11 games - 40 tackles, 14.5 TFL, 9 sacks

Marlon Davidson - 12 games - 48 tackles, 11.5 TFL, 6.5 sacks

Turner’s 12 game pace would like something like - 60 tackles, 25 TFL, 12 sacks

— would people feel differently if he was able to play a full season this past year?
