JUST IN: Police in Windsor, Connecticut say they are investigating after “1 noose and 5 more ropes that could be interpreted as nooses” were found hanging inside an Amazon construction site – WTIC

I'm going to bet, the ropes were left behind by the fire sprinkler fitters.
The electrician would also know this, but he can act dumb and act like he thinks it's racism and make some money. Nobody will call him out on it.

They use ropes and lines and knots for all kinds of things.
Maybe somebody should come up with jobsite guidebook to non-offensive ropes and knots. The super could just walk around with it, to troll people.

not disagreeing - I am just ignorant in association of nooses with fire sprinklers.
Now - a 'noose' is a great knot for receptive use in applying a quick/secure connection for dragging or lifting a bunch of objectives. Takes a little time to create the knot, but tightening/release is quick and the knot is very effective.
I could see its use in securing and hoisting a number of heavy objects in series.
But just never saw it in action - or heard of it before now.
To me - this has "hoax" written all over it. = just like the Smollett and Watson 'outrages.'
