So saying that this “event” was blown WAY out of proportion by the news media is being sympathetic? You think a couple hundred people being let in the capitol and taking pictures inside some congressman’s office is worse than assassinating a president or antifa destroying billions of dollars of private businesses. The commodes in the hallowed halls of Congress are more important and valuable than all of us put together, bro. Plus, Nancy Pelosi has some irreplaceable antique furniture in her office that warrants around the clock police protection. Plus they opted to deploy the Illinois National Guard to provide around the clock protection of the statues in the Capital building instead of, let's see, perhaps deploying that state's own Guard to the mean streets of Chicago where children can't go outside and play hopscotch on the sidewalks without being cut down by gang warfare in the wide open streets.

The attack on OKC was against a Federal building and resulted in many the deaths compared to what was likely in some part a staged and coordinated effort for political reasons that resulted in at last one direct that has not been vetted i.e. we have not been informed of the shooter nor has there been a trial.
